We specialize in restoring marine brightwork that has been ruined by the sun and sea. We strip the old finish and bring life back to your vessels brightwork. Generally, this involves stripping the old finish with heat guns and scrapers, then sanding the surface to bring back that natural color of the wood. A minimum of 14 coats of high gloss UV varnish is applied to stand up to the sun's UV rays and to make your boat's brightwork look like it is fresh from the show room.

The vessels brightwork will need yearly maintenance coats to maintain gloss/UV protection & to prevent the varnish from having to be stripped and built back up to a high gloss again. Weather permitting, this can generally be completed in a relatively short amount of time and keep your vessel looking her best. We provide detailed estimates so there will be no misunderstanding on the project process, cost or duration.
The typical project consists of:
